ADA Compliance at WVNET

WVNET recognizes the importance of ensuring that our website is accessible to all of our visitors.

We endeavor to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability set forth by the W3C in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. To that end, we are in the process of reviewing our entire website to identify non-compliant elements or documents and to bring them into compliance.

This is not simply a “fix it and forget it” solution, but a conscious shift in our approach that will continue as guidelines are updated in the future.

Portable Document Format
Some documents on the WVNET website are produced in portable document format (PDF). All PDF documents included on this site have been deemed “accessible” according the industry standard Adobe Acrobat Pro software. In order to improve viewing of these files, please download the latest version of Adobe Reader, which is available for free at the Adobe web site. Alternative accessible formats also are provided where possible, most commonly through a text or an HTML file.

We are continually seeking solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the current standard of web accessibility. In the meantime, should you experience any difficult in using/accessing the WVNET website, please contact us.
