2021 followed in the footsteps of 2020, presenting many challenges for WVNET and our customers in the wake of the ongoing and ever-evolving COVID-19 pandemic. WVNET management and staff continued to manage the operational challenges in a hybrid office/telework environment. The year consisted of some large projects, some restructuring, internal employee advancements, and some exciting milestones. Barbara has more than 30 years of experience as a technology professional, working to drive transformation in West Virginia’s higher education and spur adoption of Ellucian’s DegreeWorks degree audit solution.
After a five-year hiatus, the West Virginia Statewide Technology Conference (WVSTC) is coming back to Morgantown from July 18-20. This year’s event will gather professionals from across the state around the theme, “Leading the Way Through Innovation and Change.”
Verne joined us in September 1985 and since then provided more than 36 years of service to the improvement of computational infrastructure for educational institutions in West Virginia.
