West Virginia Statewide Technology Conference returns to Morgantown in July

After a five-year hiatus, the West Virginia Statewide Technology Conference (WVSTC) is coming back to Morgantown from July 18-20. This year’s event will gather professionals from across the state around the theme, “Leading the Way Through Innovation and Change.”

The three-day event expects to host hundreds of educators, consultants, administrators, and directors from West Virginia’s K-12, higher education, state and local government, and non-profit sectors. Attendees will be able to take part in pre-conference and concurrent sessions, visit a vendor expo, and test their knowledge at a “Team Trivia Night” social event.

Keynote speakers for the event will feature Dave Burgess, New York Times Best-Selling author of Teach Like a PIRATE, co-author of P is for PIRATE, and the president of Dave Burgess Consulting, Inc. which delivers powerful, inspirational, and innovative books, keynotes, and professional development; and, Dr. Sarah Armstrong Tucker, West Virginia’s Chancellor of Higher Education

The conference is coordinated by the West Virginia Network (WVNET), which has been integral to educational networking and technology for the state of West Virginia since 1975. The organization provides telecommunications and computing services across the state, focusing on state colleges, universities, state and local government, K-12, and public libraries.

“We are excited to bring this conference back to West Virginia” said Dr. Carl Powell, WVNET’s Director. “With over 90 sessions to choose from, and a growing list of vendors in the exhibitor expo, attendees will have a wide variety of options at the conference.”

The conference takes place from July 18-20 at the Morgantown Event Center and Morgantown Marriott. For more information and to register, visit https://wvstc.com/.
